• Inflation and the good side...

A 12-pack of diet coke at my local Safeway is $10.99 with no membership. $8.99 with a "digital coupon" that most likely requires personal information they can sell.

I needed to get off of aspartame anyways. My solution now is to make iced tea at lunch - take a teapot and two PG Tips teabags. Make a pot of tea, pour over a glass of ice cubes (my new fridge is the first one I've had with water and ice on the door...) and top with a squirt of lemon juice.

Inflation is hitting processed foods more than raw, it'll inspire me to eat healthier and cook from scratch more often.

Yup.. It's nuts. No more sodie for us. I make a pitcher of iced tea every few days and when I'm a really good boy I get a pack of electrolyte/energy drink mix that I add to freezing cold water.

...What if I told you you can't hurt the newcomers?

It's just as well. Aspartame messes with me, I get a sweet tooth from
drinking it. With a recent kitchen remodel, I added in a reverse osmosis
water filter, so iced tea has been my goto as well.
