    Hello All,

    I was thinking about new Door game. This time it wouldn't be very hard or difficult to implement. Possibly it would be too "easy" for Phenom. But what
    it would be is simple arithmetic game. Very similar to arithmetic from BSD games pack.

    The game would allow You to select the range to count from. And then choose operator (-/+/:/*). After that You would be given certain amount of
    questions. Like 10-5 etc. And the speed of Your responses would be measured.

    Nothing new under the sun. Just thinking about asking You for some nice graphics. Intro screen. Score board screen. Possibly nice font. And BBS
    players ranking. That's it not less no more. What do You think?

    What's a BSD games pack. Not too sure what you mean by "easy" for Phenom.
    But any door game would be acceptable by Phenom as long as it's packaged
    well. Is this targeted more towards kids? If so it'd be nice to have an Educational door game series. Possibly something that we could present to schools. Nonetheless it'd be nice to see progress on this door development.

    Yes, exactly. So far it just give task (1+1), waits for input and evaluates result. It does calculate something like Complexity factor. And records Your score to hi-score.

    BSD package pack is set of console games. There is a few. Can be installed on any Linux using default package manager.

    I'm glad it could be acceptable.

    Definitely the target group are kids. This one possibly for elementary
    school. Default setting won't give You higher number than 10. The speed of calculation, percentage of correct answers is the taken in account to the score.

    The Educational games series is what I would go for. I'm thinking about basic framework to implement. The questions & answers code base. What I really like is the very much unnecessary hardware bloody requirements. You can boot to multi-user mode on almost anything. And textual mode 89x25 can be handled by any graphics card.
