Nick flood is gone but timeout isn't. But it's getting there. I still lo it.

Ehm timeout. Mhmm thats odd. Are you sure its not the Mystic board timeout settings?

I havent' checked out the irc mod quite yet but I have checked out message reader and I can say job well done with that one, opicron!!!!

Nope, like I was telling Zylone the other day, if it's the Mystic board ti I'd be kicked off the board and not just exited from the mod.

This still boggles my mind.. I literally had one three different sessions open for 8+ hours sitting idle without any hiccup.

One was syncterm on efnet, one was syncterm on slackers, and one was netrunner on slackers.

The only *possible* thing I could think of is.. I know to some extent IRC servers will send a ping to the client every x minutes.. and some are configured that if they don't get a response from the client, the server will drop the connection.

They do, and I respond with PONG in iChat. As per the IRC RFC protocols ;).

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah the continued polling of users for their
away status is disabled by default now. I should not assume that servers like this ^^.

I did leave the functionality in for private servers with less users. I do think its a nice option.

Just got a head up that I made a typo in the pager (shouldnt concern your install). localtime() should be time.localtime() on line 2044.
