    Hello All,

I dare to post here. I'm glad to do so. I hope You won't mind.

Slowly lowly I'm approaching the 19x02 release of ansiu. This
is nothing complicated. It's simply conversion of ans file to
representation on utf-8 terminals. It's written in C.

    https://bitbucket.org/noobshy/ansiu.git

It displays well most of the ans files I have on disk. That's
Blocktronics B-Sides and Blocktronics 2019 calendar. On some
terminals I have some strange interpretations of the escape
sequences. What I guess is it's something with the reset seq.

    Thank You for listening

Welcome, Shinobi. Nice to see you posting on ArakNet. For all of you that don't know, Shinobi is one of the newest members of Phenom Productions and

Thanks for uploading it to Ink Two BBS and I will definitely give it a test run. I'll let you know if I find any issues as well. Hope you find a fix
    for that weird ANSI bug.

Thank You, Smooth. It's my pleasure to meet You. I'll try to do my best.
What is all the ansiu about and for. I'm trying to develop ans files
viewer. To be specific book viewer. Ansiu already has this functionality.

What I was thinking for was to create simple and light viewer that would
serve as book reader. I was thinking about specific ans books format.
That means it could be "regular" book. The specific is it could be
illustrated. ANS screens in text. And user could be dropped from BBS into
ansiu with opened book. By now I'm prototyping bookmarks. And thinking
about the size. Now I hard-coded 24 rows. The Textual User Interface
can be entered after adding any 3rd argument on command line. Then
press <h> to enter help screen. It doesn't work really at the best
on all terminals. But the ANSI world is kind of split. There are many
    terminals out there.

Thanks for uploading it to Ink Two BBS and I will definitely give it a test run. I'll let you know if I find any issues as well. Hope you

My inner clocks are set to February. Any day in the month. Trying to choose
    the approach to months.

To sum it up. My thoughts were to create ANS book. Regular text with illustrations stored in ANS format. Then have binary that would drop
the user from BBS and let him / her read and bookmarks.

Thank You for listening and hope You'll have a good day

    Shinobi
