    haha. I was the same way with some fruits and veggies. I used to have it in my head that if you truly wanted to taste authentic Maui sweet onions you had to go to Maui to get them or that they had to be grown on the island of Maui. Same goes with Manila mangos. They're native to the Philippines but most of the ones that are sold in the U.S. are grown out of Mexico since the climate is
    similar to that of the Philippines. :P
