Who here likes a good lager, or a dry stout like Guiness? Just wanted
to see what you are all drinking this summer.
Favorites include a good German Hefe like Weihenstephaner, or Schneider. Aventinus weizenbock is top 3 beers ever. A good Belgian blond or even a Tripel sipped next to the fire on a spring eve is great. Can't go wrong with St. Bernardus or Tripel Karmeliet. If you want to get adventurous
try a good sour. Easier to find stuff like Petrus or if you can find the best of the best, Duchess De Bourgogne. Funkwerks out of CO just started distributing but I don't know if it's anywhere else but Chicago and this point. Their in house Saisons and sours are to die for, but their
flagship brews are decent. If venturing into Germans, I love a good Rauchbier. Aecht Schlenkerla is pretty easy to find in big beer stores like Binny's.
