From Smooth@10:103/11 to All on Monday, November 16, 2020 10:14:24
Deuce has been busy working on finishing up RIP support for Syncterm. He's fixed a bunch of bugs and memory leak issues. Hopefully soon we'll be able
to finally use a modern terminal to log onto RIP enabled BBS systems.

I also don't like the new fonts even though i contributed some.
I'm not sure how you toggle them off while connected. So, i use this old version.

You mean like if someone has the ansi code on their BBS to make your session show Amiga fonts, and you can't prevent it? Yeah, I can see how that might be annoying.

I still prefer to use an old version of syncterm. I think the newer one has
a few issues and i don't like the difference in how it looks compared to the old version i use.

I use SyncTerm 1.1 because 1.1b and 1.2b both seem to have upload/download issues with my BBS systems. They also will just POOF and close on me sometimes. So, its been 1.1 for me.

One of these days, I may try to compare the source for 1.1 vs 1.2b and see what
    about the transfers changed.

I think 1.2b also supports Skypix.
