    Randy Seuss and a friend created a forerunner of social media services like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube in 1978. He died on December 10, 2019 in a hospital in Chicago. He created the first computer bulletin board system.

    I can honestly say his invention of BBS's changed my life directly. Of course lots of things are HEAVILY influenced by BBS tech, but BBSing pushed me more into coding and many other avenues.

    It's nice to see and I was also influenced to learn programming during those times too. :D

    Amen to that! I would have stayed interested in Marine Biology..
    however, no complaints on all the mistakes I have made because of
    BBSing ;-)
