    ooops

    I really sorry for this!

Checked out all settings in Platinum Xpress. "Seems" to be ok.
I will check my personal settings now. Maybe there is a point of changing it.

I'm going to duck really low now :-)

zOMG! This one came through!!! Hi Mike!

I don't think it's your settings, to be honest. Some softwares (ie Mystic and Synchronet) strip CTRL-A characters, and I'm thinking my husky software does
not. These kludges in your replies may be acting like /actual/ kludge lines, so you would be re-posting the MSGID of the message you are replying to.

Let's do a little test, if you are able to..

When you reply to someone else's message, try removing the kludge lines at the top of the message, the ones with "-> ^AMSGID...", "-> ^AREPLY...", etc. please. This is just a test for science, and to see if that is why those messages are being flagged as duplicate messages.

Thank you, and nice to finally get a chance to talk to you! :)

    Regards,
    Nick

    Hi Nick!

Hopefully I've done everything right with deleting all the kludge lines?

Nice to write with you, too! And thank you for your response!

[ ABOVE ARE KLUDGE LINES ]

    Hi Nick!

Hopefully I've done everything right with deleting all the kludge lines?

This one did come through! However:

You don't need to delete your quote characters (->). The problem is with the CTRL-A (looks like "^A") characters before the kludge lines. In this reply you did remove those, and it seems to work just fine!

To be completely honest, though.. If it's easy to do, just don't quote those kludges, as they're not needed in general discussion.

Maybe there is an easier solution here. In PX config, is there any options that asks "Quote Kludge Lines" or something similar? If so, it may be a simple on/off switch.

Nice to write with you, too! And thank you for your response!

Thank YOU for helping me narrow down the issue on my end!

    Regards,
    Nick
