perhaps... for example, in the 90s the only way to get (good) games, was to buy them or find warez. Now days there are plenty of free games, that even if they ask for money to get upgrades and stuff, you still can play them for free.

i used to get them at first in AOL chat groups

I disagree, but I enj0y collecting 'period correct 'warez''. I'm reliving my OLD warez collecting and building quite the collection. :P

Tooting my own horn, but there is an archive that 90s me would have FLIPPED over @ 2oFB... I enj0y providing retro computer lovers a 'correct' archive for so many platforms... :P

Man, I really need to come raid your file areas one of these days, but as I've mentioned here and on my blog before, I'm slowly but surely working on organize my own archives, and decided I should probably get that done more before adding more - largely to avoid (even more) duplicates if nothing else.

2oFB doesn't purge ; bbSing should be forever, and I want people to have their accounts for that once a year they wanna dial in for. :P
