Hey friends, there's a new movie in theaters called Twisters. It's got some decent reviews, and frankly, I really liked the original Twister movie in spite of all the campy-ness.

I saw "Twisters" for sale on the Apple TV store and bought it for $10. Started watching it, and...it's the wrong movie! One of the movies is "Twisters" and one is "The Twisters" (I can't remember which is which) but the one that's $10 is literally one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I couldn't sit through half of it. The acting, special effects, plot, dialog, writing...it's all trash. Like horrible, and not even in an ironically funny way like The Room.

I feel bamboozled lol. What a crock of shit.

Last movie I saw recently was Long Legs. It was, eh. Not bad, but I didn't love it. I'm *definitely* heading to the theaters in a few weeks to see Alien: Romulus though.

I just watched it this week and I liked it.
Of course it feeds on the original (singular Twister) from the 90s.
Of course original was more genuine
BUt still it was fun entertainment if you don't take it seriously.
Something like old fashioned summer block buster to get your brain cooler a bit when sun kissed outside.

When you approach it with... oh.. I just want to see people and building flying and some nonsense drama around it... give me coke; then it's absolutely fine way to waste 10 bucks.

And if you only watched all these stupid Marvel movies in last 15 years and missed something different, even if equally dumb... you won't be disappointed either. I miss more movies like that in theaters. I'm sick of superheroes/sci-fi.
