So... what's your opinion about the series, after season 1 ending?

For me... it was a bad show (acting, plot, mistakes) with some good moments/scenes, but because it tries to explain other things in the storyline of Star Wars, in the end, i liked it and i will be waiting for season two, to come out.

It's the first show outside the Empire/Skywalker saga and it's a huge step for the franchise. It seems that after Disney acquiring the franchise, everything is made in a harry and that's why, they are making things, sloppy.

One of these days I'll get caught back up but, I just haven't been in the mood for Star Wars lately. With Disney cranking out the shows, and the quality not being incredibly consistent, maybe I'm a bit burnt out.

Don't watch Ahsoka if you haven't watched the Star Wars: Rebels (animation). Ahsoka is not a new/stand alone series... it's season 5 for SW:Rebels.

Yep! I've heard nothing but praise for Andor, even from some of my friends who don't love newer Star Wars. Looking forward to it.

Don't watch Ahsoka if you haven't watched the Star Wars: Rebels (animation). Ahsoka is not a new/stand alone series... it's season 5 for SW:Rebels.

Yeah, I kind of gathered that - I haven't watched more than a tiny bit of any of the animated stuff. I tried to sit down and start watching Clone Wars and it wasn't bad, but it also didn't hook me. It's odd watching that style of "after school cartoon" style of show as a 40 year old man.

And through all of that Andor emerged, which lets me forgive every sloppy rushed show they made before and forever after :)

Do yourself a favour and watch Andor, it is one of the best pieces of scifi ever created imo. It's slow, plodding and completely unapologetically revolves 100% around the characters and all of the tiny moments that make up their lives, which just happen to be set on the canvas of the empire and the rebellion.

Like I said to xqtr, I am actually *really* looking forward to Andor. I have no good excuse for why I haven't watched it yet other than the aforementioned general (but also very temporary) burn out on Star Wars. One of these days!
