Anyone else watching Dark Matter?

This show is pretty neat. I can kind of see how things are starting to come together with the people in the various different universes all coalescing to come together and fight the evil version of the main character. The plot is fun, whoever came up with it has a cool imagination.

Also the visuals in this one are neat.

What is it about?

The analogue to the story is Schroedinger's cat, which exists in superposition until the box is opened. Don't ask me to explain because I am not a physicist! hehe.

Basically some dude creates a huge box where you can go inside, inject yourself with some concoction, and then you are in superposition. While inside the box in this state, you can basically travel to parallel universes. I don't want to give away too much of the plot but that's the cool scifi part of it.

It's a pretty engaging story, the last episode I watched was insane (in a good way). My wife and I really enjoy it.

Sound interesting. I'll have to check the Pirate Bay. I'd ask for what media service its on, but these days their offerings are an ever shifting landscape. Anyone else here fed up with that BS?

It's on Apple TV+. If you're already in the Apple ecosystem, I highly recommend it - I think it has unseated HBO Max, Netflix, etc., as the premier content creation house. Then again HBO Max and Netflix have really taken a nosedive of late. Guess they gotta maximize those profits...

i just finished this a couple days ago. watched the entire thing but the last episode in one sitting (have to sleep sometime i guess)

only had one problem with it that i'll preface with spoiler tags at the end..

otherwise it was quite awesome i thought. they could make an entire show that's unrelated with just the traveling around, throw in some action, rinse and repeat.. i'm really hoping they come up with something to make a second season happen.

i did have a laugh though.. there are some continuity errors in there that have nothing to do with the story, including once where the son is wearing a coat, hugs his mom and the coat disappears while doing so, and then it reappears afterwards ;) if i watch it again i'll probably be looking for more

it kinda sucked at the end of it when there's so many of him and you can potentially lose track of which one is the one we were with throughout the story.. it kind of devalued the ending because it could have been just about anyone.. they should have done something earlier on similar to the secret word or something.
