    WE HAVE ENGAGED THE BORG
The oral history of The Battle
    of Wolf359

It's fan fiction, written in the style of "The Third World War" by
General Sir John Hackett, or Max Brooks' World War Z.

Very entertaining, with lots of callbacks to characters we already know
and a few we wouldn't expect to have contributed, like Boothby, Owen
Paris, Jake Sisko and Marie Picard. Well researched.

I have to push it to my tablet and try to read... but even just from a browsing perspective.. it just looks great and like a lot... like really a lot of work in all departments.

It was a quick read, very entertaining, and showed incredible detail
that wasn't covered in two episodes, and tied into current canon.

It reminded me of the Star Trek: Vanguard series, a series of books set
in what could be described at TOS-adjacent. The Enterprise and crew play
a minor role in the book, and it describes life on a station a century
before DS9. I especially liked the callback to Scott and his bottle of
    green whiskey.
