I'm gonna sound like an old guy, but so be it: I used to love Wheel of Fortune. Solving the puzzles is mentally stimulating, kinda like Jeopardy. And Pat Sejak's jokes were really funny too! But with Pat Sajek out of the way, the show is totally ruined now!

Ryan Seacrest is just like Drew Carey; he has NO charisma! And so far, he has no jokes either. If you thought the show was boring before, you'll really hate it now.

Seacrest was right about one thing that he said in an interview a couple moths ago: "Aside from me becoming the new host, I don't want anything else about the show to change." But whoever is in charge, they didn't listen to him! They changed all kinds of stuff, including giving the bonus round contestant another letter (Now it's RSTLNEG.)

It's just ruined. I bet that I'm not the only old guy who is pissed. I'm gonna tell AARP about this! :)

Funny story about that show - my ex wife was a contestant on it! I was deployed at the time so couldn't go see the taping or anything. It was a pretty cool experience though; she won a trip to San Francisco and on that trip is when I decided to permanently relo to the west coast.

Oh, Vanna is a jerk to everyone and will only say hello to the winners. True story.

That's cool! It's exciting to see someone you know on TV. One time I saw an old friend on the Judge Mathis show. And he lost his case :)

That's funny! She is kinda robotic. There was an episode about a year ago where Vanna hosted the show while Pat was having surgery or something, and she was very rusty, didn't have any jokes, and talked to the contestants like she was being forced at gunpoint.

Some people just have to stick to what they're good at.

You know that whole "oh, she's not just another pretty face" thing people like to say? Turns out Vanna /is/ just another pretty face. lol

I remember watching The Match Game when I was a kid, and the prize was a weekend in San Francisco. They showed all of the touristy things on a
montage, then mentioned that they would stay at the beautiful Villa
    Hotel.

The Villa hotel is in San Mateo, about 20 miles south of San Francisco.
It did have a Tiki bar to rival the Tonga Room in the Fairmont hotel,
    though.

Ha! That's hilarious. I should comment Wheel of Fortune, then, because they hooked us up! We got to stay in the Palace Hotel in SOMA. That place was super nice. It had some real old-school charm, too. Felt a bit like an oldschool NYC spot.

I loved the movie The Game, not just because I love David Fincher's
work, but the ending scenes are filmed at the Palace. I worked at a
company down the street and we used to rent out their conference rooms
    for our all-hands meetings.
