• TASM/MSDOS and IDEAL mode

I had some moment where I wanted to optimize one WatcomC routine fully in assembler.

I did not want inline asm in C code, just like I remember I was doing it back in the days. complementing with TASM compiled .obj, and obligatorily full asm sources in the IDEAL mode.

I always remember that this mode is superior to MASM, just could not find any reference, until I found Mastering Turbo Assembler 4.0 book in PDF that highlighted it all back to me again.

Oh gosh... so many good memories coding again in TASM both real mode and flat mode with watcom's linker and extenders...

... Xerox Alto was the thing. Anything after we use is just a mere copy.
