I have a bugout box w/ a Pi 4, wikipedia, lots of Linux & StackOverflow data and some other stuff - gardening info, auto mechanics, etc...

All ready to go if we ever lose everything. :P

I hope you have it inside a Faraday cage ;) hahaha

Have you put any BBS files? In an older article somewhere in the Net, someone had wrote that after a 3rd WW, the computers will be again 8bit ones ;)

Muahahhahhahahaha - I'm dying over here, cause you know I don't. It's in a pelican case and.... LOL. Yer right; I'm gonna address that issue, at lease for the SDCard, HDDs, hardware.

Ahhhh - I have NOT address critical backups; 2oFB, pictures, etc. You've given me something to think about... 2oFB has to be around after the big b00m. :P

Well.. if you don't do backups then I think you should start from here! Otherwise you just signaled to leech your all stuff to preserve the huge value 20-4-BEERS represents.

I mean, seriously.. I demand you backup your damn data now! :D

Oh - I have 3-2-1 backups - I just meant the backups for my kiwix box!! :P xqtr mentioned that if we had a electronic pulse/explosion that my Kiwix box emergency kit would lose all its data - I don't have THAT backed up. I *think* 2oFB, and its data, is safe even if we lose 2 complete eco-systems!!! YAY!

Some years ago, i have started the BBSRoot project, which didn't have much success. Still, at least one guy, found his bbs graphics in it, cause his BBS crashed and didn't have backups or the backups were also corrupted

    https://github.com/BBSRoot/BBS-ANSI-Graphics

Something to have in mind... always backup!
