I'm not crafting anything, I'm just very observant and I'm noticing all this stuff. I wish everyone would notice it, but I sense that many
people just can't go against the grain. Your boss might fire you if he finds out that you ain't brainwashed by the media. Your wife might cheat on you if she finds out that you're against abortion. Bon Jovi won't invite you backstage if he finds out that you think the USA should have
    a border.

Go with the flow, and you might get hired by Google and make a shit ton
of money. But if they find out that you agreed with a "white
supremacist" (that's now a blanket term for all white people) then
you'll get fired and banned from the elite society.

You're doing the right thing. Protect the paycheck, protect the family. I'd do the same thing if I were in that position I bet.

This some of the funniest/dumbest shit I've heard in a long time. Thanks for the laugh.

You just made me reread it. there is something hidden between line there, aside of obvious irony of time. When you know how to punk among all those politically correct people... it seems more than half don't want to be that politically correct at all.. they just don't have guts to break the trend.

I think all the conservative regain in politics is saying something about that hidden sentiment to what once democratic vote was about... speaking your mind, regardless how unpopular it is.. it's just now that traditional thinking of our parent's generation is the niche... not the progressiveness of current times in politics and social behavior.

I wonder if we ever find balance.

As a non-american I'm curious as to what you meant by conservative regain. Didn't the popular vote swing towards the left by a wide margin in the last election?

about that hidden sentiment to what once democratic vote was about... speaking your mind, regardless how unpopular it is.. it's just now that

If I remember correctly from back in the day speaking your mind, a lot of the time, equated to calling for violence against gays(see Andrew Dice Clay), equating non-whites to animals and proclaiming that a woman's place is in the kitchen while doing everything possible to restrict the voting rights, let alone human rights, of all of these groups.

Speaking mainly of the 'good ole days' but I would agree that over the last 10-15 years we've seen this troubling trend of never saying anything that offends anyone ever, no matter how innocuous it is lest you risk the wrath
of the mob converging on top of you from all corners of the internet. I
always wondered how much of this was born out of a generation of parents that celebrated every single tiny victory while protecting their children from
every single miniscule discomfort or pain. Nothing is that simple of course but it's part of a theory.

I wonder if we ever find balance.

I think balance is statis. I think we are more like a thermostat in a house, you set it to room temperature and your AC/Furnace never maintains that temperature, it's constantly going a few degrees over, then stopping until it goes a few degrees under, then working to being it a few degrees over, so the average is 21 but it's never at 21 for more than a couple of minutes on it's way to go over and under by whatever limit is imposed
