Dude, I've been having this issue for YEARS... not sure if its user error or something with Distortion's setup, maybe a Mystic bug, but I'll notice I'm not seeing messages I'm expecting only to discover that one or more area(s) are turned off in my personal newscan config. Sometimes I even just randomly check now because I'm so paranoid... haha

I also trimmed my FTNs down to ArakNet and Zer0Net, so not sure where else you may post but there's a chance we just haven't crossed streams recently.

I've been back to working on Daydream and having a good time of it. I guess my c skills aren't as rusty as I thought.

Hmmm...rusty...I wonder how hard it would be to write Daydream mods in rust...I digress...

I managed to get the source to the Amiga version of Daydream. Now I just need to figure out 1) how to compile the damn thing, and 2) how to understand and write assembly code on 68k :P

At first I assumed I had some hotkey setup to do that I was accidentally hitting sometimes, but I haven't been able to find such a thing. *shrug*

Doso - I just got caught up to speed on LOTS of NAS stuff; extensive testing of UNRAID, TrueNAS CORE and Scale - both on top of Proxmox and by itself so I did the PCI passthru stuff and... yea. I'm up to date. ;P

What else have you been working on? What 2oFB stuff?

Oh just tons of... things; always adding m0re easter eggs for users to find, moving the zer0net FTN to slot #2, which I just got finished tonight - had to physically move all the zer0 message bases to just after my local msg bases... in doing that, I'm realizing that I need to take some time to do that to ALL the FTNs so they get newscanned in the order that I want.

The users of 2oFB have blessed it with a summer FUNdraiser that allowed us to order new drives and hardware for the upcoming NAS change. We're going enterprise w/ a 58TB ZFS-1 pool and all the memory and CPU that it'll need to r0ck for another 10 years; thats been really fun. Hard drives show up tomorrow.

No worries - I found what I was looking for. [Newest version of mysticbb...] I'm going to be using it for a members-only forum/message area on 2oFB. I had tried to use it as the main local message areas on 2oFB awhile back, but that much traffic was just a little too cumbersome for it - but I think its gonna work out great for a group of just 10 of us or so; if you ever wanna check it out, lemme know and I'll make sure you have access. :P

Thanks for writing all the cool mods that give us Mystic sysops more choices than we'll ever use!
