    From Poindexter Fortran to All on Wednesday, May 01, 2013 10:15:00

    Synchronet has been good to me - it does everything from acting as a mail server, web server, IRC server, telnet and FTP.

    I'm looking for a project and was thinking about running another BBS.

    I'm thinking of a Linux-based BBS on a Raspberry Pi, but have heard interesting things about a DOSEMU project running on it. I'd love to
    resurrect an old DOS BBS on the net.

    I'll end up keeping realitycheckBBS running on Synchronet, most likely,
    since it and the mailer are supporting Fidonet region 10.

    I've just got syncronet running on a raspberry. It works, I don't know much about the system but all seems to be working. I haven't tried to get doors to work yet. I wanted to run it and try to install zork or some game like that. Something I've never played. My girlfriend and I may play it, but I wanted it on a system I can access from any place.

    Have you got the DOSEMU running yet?
